Volakas Marble
Waters/veins on an off-white background, and Type II has longitudinally parallel gray to brown waters/veins.
It is mined at the foot of Falakros mountain in the area of Drama, near the village of the same name, from where it got its name.
With three quarries connected as a joint project for Type I and two quarries connected as a joint project for Type II, our company has unique capabilities to produce and supply these materials efficiently.
Volaka marble is known as the “Carrara of Greece” due to its similarity to the Carrara marble produced in Italy. Both marbles are considered among the most refined and durable marbles in the world. In addition, Volaka marble has been used in various important structures and monuments in Greece and other parts of the world, adding to its reputation and value.
Pigon Marble
Another marble we offer is a fine-grained dolomitic marble with characteristic fine, faint gray to blue veins on a white background.
It is mined in the area of Prosotsani Drama, at the south-west foothills of Falakro Mountain, near the sources of the Aggitis River.
It got its name from the homonymous village located nearby. This classy marble is ideal for commercial and residential projects and is mainly used for indoors and outdoors.
Nestos Marble
Medium-grained, calcareous marble with a white to light gray background available in the selections with few gray waters, with medium to quite gray-black cloudy waters, and with parallel gray waters.
It is produced in the area of Komneni, Xanthi, near the Nestos river, from where it got its name.
It has the same chemical characteristics as the famous Penteliko marble from the Penteli area of Athens. However, in contrast to Pentelikos, the whiteness of Nestos is brighter and more intense. This combination exudes a calm atmosphere wherever it is used.
The material is suitable for applications in bathrooms, spas and saunas as well as for floors and walls.
Vratsa Marble
Fine-grained limestone is available in shades of light to dark beige with slightly darker veins.
It is mined in the Vratsa region of Northern Bulgaria. Known as Vratsa Marble, this stone is characterized by its natural, warm color that can be easily combined with various natural and synthetic materials.
It is an ideal material for eco-friendly architecture and can be used indoors and outdoors for a range of applications such as floors, walls, fountains, bathrooms, showers, spas, saunas, and sculptures.
